My name is João Figueiras, as an artist I go for "fig.gif", and I'm a Freelance Animator based in Lisbon.
I direct and animate music videos; do live visuals for concerts, DJs and dance performances; and motion design for explainer videos, identities and social media content.
Most recently worked in advertising, as a 3D Animator at Studio Nuts, where my main responsibilities were Animation and Rigging.
I previously worked as a resident VJ at Musicbox Lisboa, setting the mood for clubbing nights with lights and visuals.
I’ve also had experience making character and environment animation for indie game studios.
The love for animation comes from a young age, but when I’m not tending to it - messing around with key-frames and f-curves - I’m probably inside a studio making music with friends, or at a venue playing it live!
